The historic center has an urban layout consisting of a main road axis, on which opens the small square with Palazzo del Podestà and the parish church; from this main road axis other minor roads depart that compose a ring.
Thanks to the fact that the urban layout of Radda has not undergone changes over the centuries its civil dwellings have kept the medieval structures that have been brought to light only after the restorations carried out towards the end of the 20th century. the Palazzo del Podestà and the grand-ducal ice-houses. In Radda there is also the Museum of Sacred Art of Chianti.
